Hers is one of the most heartbreaking stories we've ever encountered. Pinky, at 12 years old, was given to a woman as a gift. She didn't want her so she left her at a high kill shelter still dressed as a present, bow in her hair and all.

This was so painful for us and we thought she would traumatized but was nothing but sweet and loving. She bonds quickly with everyone she comes in contact with.

Luckily her foster father fell for her hard and now she has a forever home that will never think of her as anything but a gift from heaven.
